REVIEW: DRAGONSAUROUS Costume

I was pleasantly surprised when I was contacted by Costume SuperCenter, to review a costume for them. I have to admit that I had never heard of them before, so I headed on over to their website CostumeSuperCenter

There were so many wonderful selections that I spent a lot of time on here trying to pick just one! Immediately I thought of something for the big kids' since they love to dress up all the time. I was happily surprised to find out they had not one Mario Brother's costume, but had them all, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad and even Yoshi! If you're not familiar with the Mario costumes, they are hard to find! In fact, Costume Supercenter had every costume my kids' would ever want! Just check out their selection for yourself, it's unbelievable!

So I waited until the big kids' came home from school and we all looked at them together. I heard so many remarks like "cool" and "awesome" that I lost count! I "aww'd" over several of the infant/toddler costumes myself. I have to admit that I even looked at the adult costumes for myself. In my head I thought it would be fun to dress up with the kids' :) I have never seen so many adult costumes before! But in the end the 3 big kids' chose a costume for baby brother. The Dragonsaurous one.

The costume arrived really quickly and I was very pleased when I opened the box. The costume was even cuter in person and soooo soft and plush! To me that's the most important feature when an infant or toddler will be wearing something. I was so excited that I just had to put it on him! Justin loved it! He didn't seem uncomfortable at all. I really think he thought he was a big kid too! I loved how it gathered around the arms and feet and the hood fit his head perfectly! The only negative I can say is that it was a bit on the small side, size wise. I ordered him a size Toddler 2-4. He is only 16 months old and average height and it's already a little snug on him. I'm really hoping he will still be able to wear it for Halloween, because it is such a cute costume!!

Now I know where to find incredible costumes at affordable prices! Like I said before, the selection is amazing, CostumeSupercenter.com will certainly be the store I will be using whenever the boys' need a new costume!

*NOTE* This is my honest review for a costume given to me by costumesupercenter.com. Everything written is my own personal thoughts and opinions.

A perfect weekend!

Have you ever had one of the amazing weekends that you wish you could have over and over again? Well I just had one of those! No, we didn't go to some magical resort, no high priced restaurant, no big spending spree, in fact we didn't even leave our house! We spent the entire Labor Day weekend at home having fun and enjoying the incredible weather! Saturday we walked to a little festival, then came home and drug out the old badminton set from the backyard shed and that was the entire days activity, oh, I must not forget playing frisbee also. I'm talking the entire day, only coming in to eat and potty breaks!! The kids' may have had cold ham and cheese sandwiches for dinner, but they didn't care at all! We played hard together this weekend and it was pure bliss! For those of you that don't know me, this is something that I usually don't partake in, my husband is the one who plays with the boys' outside all the time. I hit the basketball around here and there and do daily walks, but nothing this strenuous. It was a blast even though my aching muscles are thinking differently, LOL!
We even watched a movie last night, Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Squeakuel. It was a cute movie, everyone enjoyed it.
This weekend will definately be stored in my best memories box somewhere in my noggin! Nathan said it was his best weekend ever, LOL! You know when you're 10 every fun thing becomes "the best ever" :)
I even managed to do some cleaning and wash several loads of laundry today!
What I learned from this weekend, is that the kids' need me to be more involved physically. I'm already counting down the days till the next weekend, but I know come 3:30 tomorrow, they'll be wanting me to go outside and "play" also :)
